Clay, design by Marconato & Zappa, is a modular sofa perfect for any environment and easily adaptable to any style and functional need thanks to its modularity and the possibility of enhancing it with chaise longues, benches and poufs.
The design of this sofa is extremely elegant and simple, with a backrest aligned with the armrest requiring a large, freely positioned backrest cushion for each seat. One of the peculiarities of Clay is the possibility of choosing between seat cushions or quilted poufs.
Another typical feature of this model is comfort, a key element of CTS handcrafted sofas. This is ensured thanks to the double density polyurethane padding whose flexibility is guaranteed by intertwined elastic straps. Those who wish to further increase the softness of the sofa may choose to insert a sterilized goose feather cushion into the seat.
The durability of the sofa depends on the supporting structure made of solid fir and plywood as well as on the removable cover (in the case of fabric upholstery). You can completely renew the sofa after 5-10 years of use, at a small cost, by replacing the covers with new fabric according to current trends. The support feet are in aluminium available in a range of colours.
The sofa can be customized in size to suit any setting and in accordance with the needs of each customer.
The Clay sofa with a contemporary design fits perfectly with the Tape, Charme and Selfy lounge tables. For the latter, the colour of the supporting structure can be matched with the sofa feet.
The available fabrics are displayed on a dedicated page, although you have the option to choose your own fabric off the catalogue.
The CTS product warranty is 10 years for the sofa frame and 5 years for the padding.
